Digisight Ultra N355 - the ultimate solution for demanding conditions.
Do you remember 20 years from now? That was the dawn of the digital era: gadgets rapidly becoming a part of our daily life. Your first smartphone, MP4 player, PC tablet… Advanced technologies have been continuously making life easier, more diverse and comfortable. Today, everywhere you go, you go digital. Even hunting, a rather conservative activity humans have been practicing from time immemorial, has been extensively soaking up modern technologies.
Back in 2009, our company, Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide, released the first digital riflescope on the worldwide market named Digisight, a Pulsar-branded riflescope suitable for both night and day hunting. The Digisight riflescope was a huge success; it won the hearts and minds of thousands of hunters around the world. Over the years, we have been diligently perfecting our digital riflescopes, and today, in 2017, we have developed a new model known on the market as Digisight Ultra N355. Probably, you may ask “Why do I need to buy your product?”. Let’s take a glance some of the reasons you may consider worth considering.
IMAGE QUALITY BEYOND EXPECTATIONS
What are the ingredients of a perfect image? High-resolution sensor, good display and quality multicoated lenses. The Digisight Ultra N355 has a balanced combination of all of this. The 752x582 pix. CCD sensor features super sensitivity meaning that even in low light conditions you will be able to detect small objects. The ½’’ size of the sensor also matters: the larger the sensor size, the more light it gathers, and the more sensitive is the riflescope. The 640x480 pix AMOLED display ensures a clear, crisp and contrast-rich image.
If you happen to find yourself in total darkness – say, in the middle of a forest with no stars or the Moon in the sky – the 940nm onboard IR Illuminator will provide a lighting source to allow you to continue hunt. Should you need more light, you are free to swap IR Illuminator attaching an optional laser Pulsar IR Ultra. The 3.5x optical magnification is perfect for short and average range shooting. But if you want more, with the push a button – step-up or continuous zoom up to 14x is at your disposal anytime. The Picture-in-Picture function shows on the display another window with a magnified image of the aiming zone. At the same time, the shooter can see the main image with basic magnification. This essential feature, previously available only in Pulsar thermal riflescopes, improves shooting accuracy.
Imagine you have unpacked your riflescope and you need to mount it on a rifle. There is nothing to worry about: the riflescope normally comes with a mount, quick release or regular Weaver for example. With a number of fixing holes in the scope and mount, you can freely move the riflescope back and forth securing the right eye relief. Other mounting options are readily available. Digisight Ultra N355 is remarkable for its high caliber recoil resistance, it’s suitable for all major large calibers such as: 12 gauge., 9.3x64, .375H&H etc.
Even though the riflescope is packed with lots of features, it’s very easy to operate all of them. The four control buttons on the top and a power on button on the side. This kind of layout permits operation with both hands although left-hand operation is more convenient. The buttons are sufficiently large to allow trouble-free operation when wearing gloves.
STURDY AND DURABLE DESIGN
Do you ever fear about dropping a glossy glass smartphone and damaging it? With Digisight Ultra N355 you can relax. The riflescope features a sturdy plastic body able to withstand extensive load. Do you enjoy hunting in freezing cold or burning heat? No problem, the display allows you to use the riflescope at temperatures ranging from -25 °C to
+50 °C. The IPX7 degree of protection guarantees that your riflescope is fully waterproof. You will hardly opt for underwater hunt but you can always be sure that the device will survive a heavy tropical rain.
It’s a pleasure to have a front-row seat during your hunt. However, it can be even more fun to share you hunting experience with your friends or fellow hunters. Digisight Ultra N355 has something to offer. The riflescope is equipped with an onboard video/photo recorder able to capture videos or pictures with a resolution of 640x480 pix. The 8Gb internal memory is large enough to hold up to 150 min of video or up to 10 thousand pictures.
If you are reluctant to transmit images via PC, we have another option for you: Stream Vision, a branded software by Pulsar. Stream Vision connects your riflescope with Android/iOS mobile unit (smartphone or tablet) which enables you to receive footage in the real time mode. The application also streams online the image captured by the device to YouTube. You can also share your hunting memories to various social media such as Facebook, Skype, Twitter, Viber or upload to Google Drive, iCloud etc. Finally, Stream Vision allows you to use your smartphone as a remote control: switch between operating modes and adjust settings of your riflescope just by touching your smartphone’s screen.
A NUMBER OF USEFUL EXTRAS
Let’s face an established truth - digital equipment is still extremely power consuming. One may spend a fortune on buying tons of batteries. With Digisight N355 the power issue is resolved... The riflescope is supplied with a progressive autonomous B-Pack power supply consisting of a quick-detach, rechargeable IPS5, 5.2 A-h battery pack designed to deliver around 5 hours of operation on maximum mode. Higher-powered IPS10 battery packs also are available and provide a perfect off-the-grid power solution. Another powering option available is a power bank - you can use either Pulsar PB8I Power bank or any other compatible 5V external battery.
The riflescope comes with a smart remote control, a perfect tool for hands-off operation. The three buttons and a controller wheel on the RC let you control all functions of the riflescope without touching it.
Digisight Ultra N355 delivers a regular black and white image. But should you wish to make your picture more colorful… We have this for you too. Along with b/w color inversion, the riflescope offers three more palettes – red monochrome, ultramarine, and sepia. Select a suitable palette depending on the surroundings and image contrast.
Last but not least – the price. For just about 1300 EUR you get this beautiful piece of kit capable of everything you may want from a professional hunting riflescope.
Hopefully, all the above-mentioned reasons have been convincing enough. The Digisight Ultra N355 riflescope is a nicely designed, feature-packed moderately priced equipment that can become a little helper for your big hunt. Wherever you go - in the woods, in the field or simply in a shooting range to practice, you can be sure - Digisight Ultra N355 is the ultimate solution for demanding conditions.
