We’re pleased to announce that the beta testing of the new Stream Vision Ballistics mobile application is now complete. The updated application version 1.0.3 is available to download from the AppStore and Google Play. The first Pulsar device to support Stream Vision Ballistics is Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro with the upcoming new firmware update 3.1 which is ready to be launched on May 4th.
Please follow these instructions for a proper use of ballistic calculations:
Accurate and easy to use
Stream Vision Ballistics is a full-featured mobile ballistics calculation tool for accurate long-range shooting. It can be paired with supported Pulsar riflescopes via Bluetooth.
Once you create a Stream Vision Ballistics profile and upload it to your thermal riflescope, you can disconnect the device from the app. The calculations are then done by the scope itself. After measuring the range, the suggested point of aim will be displayed on the scope’s screen and it will stay there until the next distance measurement.
This new feature will be enabled via the upcoming firmware update for the Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro. While the Thermion 2 LRF XG50 and Thermion 2 LRF XQ50 Pro will be added to the list in the near future.
This app can also work as a standalone ballistics calculator with traditional daytime riflescopes. It is precise, flexible and very easy to use due to its algorithms for calculating trajectory corrections. Simply create a ballistics profile for the desired ammunition and the Stream Vision Ballistics app will calculate vertical and horizontal corrections for your riflescope based on the provided data.
Adaptable to personal needs
With this highly useful app, a select number of ballistics profiles with numerous ammunitions configurations can be created and stored in your smartphone’s memory for later use.
The extensive ammunitions database covers multiple brands and calibres for all types of rifles and different long-range shooting. The database is constantly updated with new ammunition. Moreover, Stream Vision Ballistics allows calculations of corrections with custom hand-loaded ammunition.
The new mobile application features several modes of displaying ballistics data. So you can select the mode that best suits your needs.
