Why is it worth updating to Firmware 4.0 and how to use USER MODE?
Let's talk about one of the new features that come with this update: USER MODE. It is a new observation mode, that allows you to select and save your personal preferences.
USER MODE or User defined observation mode is a new feature in PULSAR thermal imaging units that offers a unique option image customization. The mode allows saving user defined settings of brightness and contrast for a specified preset observation mode (e.g. Forest, Rocks, Identification) without losing the default settings for either of these modes.
You can activate the USER MODE in two ways:
Once activated, the USER MODE allows you to change settings of any of preset observation modes and to save them. To adjust the settings according to personal requirements, please enter quick menu (on the right side of the screen), select the desired observation mode that will be adjusted and then adjust brightness and contrast settings for this mode.
After that, when switching between the observation modes (Forest, Rocks, Identification), they will appear with default settings. The USER mode will be activated with the previously defined values of mode, contrast and brightness.
To change the settings of the USER MODE, please repeat the procedure in the quick menu.
