With the gloomy weather upon us, thermal vision becomes crucial for effective and safe hunts. With that in mind, we’re introducing new binoculars: Merger LRF XT50.
Those who follow us will immediately notice a new combination of letters in the name: XT. Behind them is a brand-new thermal imaging sensor that boasts an HD resolution of 1280x1024 pixels.
Compared to the previous HD resolution model, the new sensor is 66.67% larger, delivering even more detail and sharpness at any zoom level. But some will say it’s not even the best part: increased resolution also comes with an increased field of view. To be more precise, the combination of the HD sensor and a 50 mm lens allows hunters to enjoy a 17.5 ° FOV.
With smooth zooming that retains informative image throughout the whole 2x-16x range, the need to compromise between magnification and field of view is long gone. This unique set of features and unprecedented image clarity make Merger LRF XT50 one of the most versatile devices: it will serve hunters well while targeting small, fast-moving targets at longer distances or wider, open areas, while also delivering a highly informative image in forested locations.
The Merger line has made its mark in the market as one of the most comfortable devices to use, and the XT50 is no exception. There are a few good reasons for this. First is the detailed picture you see every time you glance at the display. Because the sensor is so large, we were able to achieve lossless pixel-to-pixel image transfer from sensor to display. This means there's no need to worry about image compression and resizing to fit the display, and, in turn, you get an even more informative image.
Then there’s the image stabilization feature. While it’s up to the user whether to turn it on or off, the function is irreplaceable for those who like to record videos and wish for maximum stability. Plus, it will allow hunters to follow fast-moving animals more easily and prevent them from escaping the field of view.
Finally, it’s impossible to miss the design of this device. Our product designers have really put a lot of thought into the Merger line, and the result is flawless. Housed in a familiar shape and size of daytime binoculars, the Pulsar Merger LRF XT50 minimizes eye strain through the adjustable dual eyepiece. The buttons are easy to reach and memorize, while a precise laser rangefinder now measures distances up to 1500 meters. And with a 2.3 km detection range, you will surely see a lot of objects you’ll need to know distances to.
So, whether you look at the image quality, comfort of use, or versatility and reliability, the Pulsar Merger LRF XT50 offers unrivalled excellence in every domain. Learn more about our newest masterpiece here.
