No, there are no thermal imagers able to look through glass because glass does not let infrared radiation within 8–14 ɥm pass.
It is not recommended to point the thermal imager with open lens cap at powerful sources of energy (unit emitting laser radiation or the sun), because it may negatively impact the accuracy of the thermal imager.

Due to various thermal conductivity issues, objects (surrounding environment, background) under observation warm faster at positive temperatures, which enables better temperature contrast and, thus, the quality of the image produced by a thermal imager, will be superior. At low operating temperatures objects under observation (background) normally cool down to roughly equal temperatures, which leads to lower temperature contrast and image quality degradation.
Please make sure that the unit is switched off completely: press and hold the ON/OFF button for more than 3 seconds – a countdown will display on the screen.
If the button is held for less than 3 seconds, “Display Off” mode will be activated. In this mode the unit still uses power and the batteries will drain.

Pulsar riflescopes feature a max. shock resistance of 6000 Joules which allows use on heavy calibers.

The zoom zeroing function helps increase the zeroing accuracy of riflescopes. Zoom zeroing allows the shooter to zero the riflescope on zoom. Increasing magnification of the riflescope by 2x (e.g. 1.6x2=3.2) makes the click value two times smaller (click value for every riflescope can be found in the respective reticle catalog or technical specifications of the unit in the user manual). Respectively increasing the magnification of the unit by 4 makes the click value 4 times smaller.

The gun is equipped with a compensator or silencer that radiates heat when fired.
It is recommended to raise the height of the riflescope to a level at which the flare is not visible.
After that, you will need to re-zero the riflescope.
